Visual Hierarchy

This is one of the most crucial principles behind an amazing website design. Visual hierarchy is the order in which our eye perceives what it sees. It’s true that specific parts of your pages are more important compared to the others. Of course, you would want to highlight more of those important elements.

Fitt’s Law

The Fitt’s law refers to the time frame required to move to a specific target area–the function of the target size to the target distance. Basically, the bigger and closer the object is, the easier it is to utilize. Bigger is not always better, though.

Hick’s Law

According to Hick’s Law, each additional option increases the time frame required in order to make a decision. Surely, you have experienced this many times at restaurants. The bigger the menu, the harder it is to choose a meal. Therefore, to make a better website design, remove all the distracting options.
